About Rohit
Known as a people-centric leader, Rohit Bassi has built his expertise by working with businesses across the globe. A functional fitness nerd and global citizen who has lived in India, New Zealand, the U.S., Japan, Finland, the U.K., and Australia, he brings a deep understanding of both local nuance and organizational culture.
This global lens has shaped how he builds teams, leads leaders, and drives performance. Driven by a belief that people are a company’s ultimate competitive advantage, Rohit founded People Quotient — a data-driven, people-first business designed for leaders who want to win through their teams.
As investor in lower mid-market across two funds he oversaw portfolio growth across 10 platforms & multiple add-ons with several successful exits (up to 8 MOIC).
As operator in MSD capital based B2B services business with exit to KKR he led local, regional, and national P&Ls through organic and acquisitive growth.
As consultant and part of McKinsey & Company's Private Equity practice, he advised bulge bracket global PE firms on buy, sell, and operating opportunities.
